Biography
Ervin Knight was born in Compton California,. He graduated from UC Irvine in 2003 where he was a cheerleader for 3 years. Since 2000, Ervin has been coaching tumbling,acro , gymnastics, and cheer in and around the Austin area since 2006. He was the Owner head cheerleading coach and program director for Cheer Empire from 2000-2006 , Texas Power Athletics from 2013-2018 and . He has also coached many high school cheer teams including Bowie,Hays ,Lehman,O’connor Marshall . He’s coached collegiate programs such as Texas State University , Incarnate Ward, Texas Southern, Arkansa Pine Bluff. He has coached championship routines, individual routines, partner stunt & stunt groups and fitness competitors.
Ervin is a highly focused leader who has a proven track record of success with the hundreds of athletes he has coached. When he is not training athletes atVim Gym, Ervin is spending time with his wife Nellie and sons Dominic and Kingston.
