Naomi Mahamuth is co-owner, cheer director, tumbling coach and fitness enthusiast. She started cheerleading at age 12, participating on school, competitive, and the collegiate team at Texas State. Naomi graduated from Texas State University, earned a degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences, with a teacher certificate in all level Physical Education. While Naomi is not at the gym she is coaching at a local elementary, Kinder – 5th grade as a Physical Education teacher. Naomi is United State All Star Federation (USASF) certified through level 3. She has been coaching recreational gymnastics, tumbling, and cheer for 8 years. Naomi has a passion in developing youth physical activity and is driven by the success’ and hard work of the athletes she coaches.
Nick Valera is co-owner, cheer coach, and lead tumbling instructor. Nick
graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Exercise in Sports Science. Nick is USASF certified through level 5. Nick grew up with a tumbling environment throughout his childhood. Nick brings with him 10 years of coaching adults and youth in the sport of gymnastics and cheer. Nick enjoys coaching and nurturing athletes of all ages. Nick currently trains Canyon Lake, Hays, Lehman, Seguin High School and all Express Stingers all star teams.
Jason Rodriguez established Stingers Wrestling Club for training of youth and young adults in San Marcos. Jason graduated from Texas State University earning a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in Sports Psychology. Jason has been a founder and coach to multiple wrestling programs including San Marcos High School, Wrestling Club Team Sand Storm, New Braunfels Wrestling, Warriors Edge Wrestling, and the collegiate team at Texas State University. During his wrestling career, Jason was a National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NWCA) qualifier in 2010 and top 10 finisher in 2011. Jason also earned numerous awards and achievements including Outstanding Wrestler Japan 2005 & 2006, as well as MVP in Yokota, Japan and Texas State
